Founded in 2018, Black in Material focuses on the experimentation and creativity of contemporary ink art, not limited to traditional media, and is committed to the promotion of contemporary ink art. The current members are based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and they hold workshops to teach basic Chinese calligraphy from time to time.
